Cantus Farm is located at the Sunny Hill Farm facility in Walnut Creek, California at the peaceful and picturesque foothills of Mount Diablo. This preeminent equestrian facility in Northern California offers an outdoor and two covered riding arenas for year-round training. The facility's location is surrounded by trails and easy access to Shell Ridge open space.
As owner and trainer of Cantus Farm, Joy Parker oversees all aspects of the training program for both horse and rider. Joy's training program focuses on Hunter, Jumper and Equitation disciplines. She emphasizes good horsemanship and basic fundamentals of riding as a foundation for any discipline. Her training programs are personalized to specifically address the needs and expectations of each client. Joy trains both experienced and higher level competitive riders as well as beginners looking to learn the basics. Primarily, Cantus Farm's clients own their own horses. However, there may be an opportunity to lease or take individual lessons depending on the availability of horses, so please check with Joy if you are interested in beginning a riding program.
